MEET OUR STAFF
Rebecca Zacher- Owner/OperatorPhoto by Eric Albrecht from The Columbus Dispatch
Rebecca founded In Demand Pet Sitting in April 2006 after realizing that no other job could compare to her true calling, working with animals. In addition to her 8 years of experience as a professional pet sitter, Rebecca has worked extensively with a variety of shelters and rescues in Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York over the past 20 years. She currently serves as a Volunteer Adoption Counselor at the Franklin County Dog Shelter, is a supporter of The Columbus Dog Connection and a volunteer for the Ohio Region #4 Animal Emergency Response Team. Rebecca is "Mom" to a Lhasa Apso Mix named Kramer and an Australian Shepherd Mix named Jackson.
Erin Michelli- Office Manager/Sitter
Erin has been a volunteer and foster parent for the Franklin County Dog Shelter for the past 6 years and is currently a member of the shelter's Board of Volunteers. She received her Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources from OSU and is working on her Masters in Education. After a day of exercising and cuddling with some of our lucky clients, Erin unwinds with her own pack which includes 5 dogs, 4 cats, 2 goats, a few chickens, 1 duck and a beautiful daughter and grandaughter.
